This is a scandal. 90 water coolers, of which 75 are for Montrose. One regional studio is only getting one cooler. And that’s the one they will never service. Question is, which outpost is it most likely to be?
How are they spending over 3k per cooler?
€200×90=€250,000. Dum ass.
Arrest RTE. Hold a public trial instead of the late late. We need answers.
Doesn’t seem that crazy, no?
2.7k per water cooler including installation, service cost, cups, water for 5 years?
1,562 TV license fees well spent…
Tap water?
Well they just got 725 million of our money so I suppose the sky’s the limit now. They’ll have brand new everything and one for everyone in the audience
And they wonder why we stopped paying our tv licenses.

Well when they got a bailout from the taxpayer of three quarters of a billion, people warned that they would only piss it all away. It looks like they took that literally.
Thats just how much they cost
Can they not drink tap water? Buy a few Brita filters every month?
Fucking jokers wasting OUR money!
I don’t see the problem here. Can someone explain?
RTE shovels €500,000 into replacing toilet rolls in all its bogs, only for most of it to be flushed down the toilet.
Stop stop stop with this rte nonsense.
Companies do indeed need to spend money
A nothing story
Bigger fool posting it.
They can use a tap
Less worried about the water, more just why a whole eight regional offices? Why do you need three Galway offices *and* a Sligo one when there is also a Donegal one? Seems like the different departments could be colocated a bit more.
Do they not have taps at the office. Irish water provides free water and the Irish climate provides the cooling.
They just spent 150,000 in our place (pharma)on 10 ZIP taps…. that work the odd time after 6 months. If this is a contract it’s great value.
