Also during the Oval Office meeting, Trump and Vance complain about Ukraine’s Zelensky not saying how “handsome” they are
Saturday Night Live alum Mike Myers portrayed a cringe-inducing, chainsaw-wielding Elon Musk interrupting Donald Trump and J.D. Vanceâs two-on-one attack of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The showâs cold open began with Trump (James Austin Johnson) and Vance (Bowen Yang) berating Zelensky (Mikey Day) for not being sufficiently thankful for aid against Russian aggression.
âPresident Zelensky,â Trump started, âYou want to say a few words? Maybe tell Mr. Putin how much you love him and that youâre sorry you invaded Russia? Maybe offer him one night with your wife?â
Zelensky only got a few words out before being interrupted: âMr. President, with all due respectââ
Vance loudly blurted out, âExcuse me!? Iâm sorry, what!? I have to jump in here because thatâs how we planned this. What happened to âthank youâ? Remember âthank youâ? You havenât said âthank youâ once in the past 15 seconds Iâve been yelling at you.â
âYou didnât say anything about us being handsome,â he griped moments later, with Trump agreeing, adding that Zelenskyâs attire was inappropriate.
âWho shows up to the White House in a t-shirt and jeans like a garbage person?â he said as Musk entered, spastically revving a chainsaw around Trumpâs head and awkwardly jumping around.
âHi-hi-hi guys,â he said, unable to speak normally. âDonald, what are you doing in my office? You know Iâm the president now, right?â
Saying he may or may not have been joking, he bursted out moments later, waving his fists around: âLegalize comedy! Legalize comedy!â He then abruptly got quiet.
Trumpâs response: âIâm so comfortable with all of that.â
