It is good to try to get Trump to agree.
But they should focus on developing a plan that doesn’t rely on the US.
As soon as they have that, the US defence contractors will start to get VERY nervous because the US’s status in the world will become massively diminished.
Trump always uses threats and bluffs to deal with other people. You might have to call them on it this time.
The US is complaining about being the defender of Europe, but in reality they benefited massively from the contribution they have made in the past.
Why presenting it to trump? Lets just present it directly to Putin.
Why would krasnov agree to anything that hurts russia
Does US still have any role in this? They will not provide anything valuable. They want only to please Putin and start business as usual with Russia.
The only thing which will end the war is Europe guaranteeing with a lot of money the long term support of Ukraine if Russia doesn’t come to the negotiating table.

Theyre not submitting it to the u.s. for help. Theyre submitting it publicly so that they and the world can know what side the u.s. is on.

Trump is violating agreements he himself signed five years ago and facts have no relevance in his assessment of reality.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but we’re only 3 years in to this war and as much as I feel like I’ve kept up with it 3 years seems “young” for a war. Why is there so much pressure for peace right now? Peace right now is just a ceasefire until Russia can rebuild and do the same thing in a few years with lessons learned. Russia needs to be defeated (no territory gained) or Ukraine needs to have guarantees like Poland before WW2. Make it clear that if WW3 starts its because Russia invaded Ukraine… again.

UK and France should be working on a plan for a massive attack on occupied Ukraine and position nukes on the border, then negotiate.

The only reason to present it to the US is if the US has some role in it – and, frankly, that is a very dangerous thing. At the very least, the current US President is being easily manipulated by Putin, so any role the US has in any ‘ceasefire plan’ could make it fatally flawed.
To present to the US? If everyone else is so bad ass why are they presenting anything to the USA?
