Ukraine should be allowed to join NATO, say Britons

1. If Ukraine joins NATO, Trump will pull the USA out.

   Understand this is neither a good or a bad statement, but Europe is not ready with a new alliance to defend from Russia yet, that’s why we need to buy time.

2. The US, at this point, has all but officially withdrawn from NATO. Pretending otherwise is ridiculous.

3. They can, after we boot out Hungary, Slovakia and USA.

4. NATO, NATO, NATO…….. There are countries that would say No. But we could do a fastpass to EU. EU has a similar article to Nato article 5. So the question now is, if the EU strikes back because of this article, Russia would shoot at EU/NATO countries. Would this trigger the NATO article ?

5. Make an even bigger organization from Europe to Australia of those countries who want to make a difference against authocrats. The Alliance

12. The member countries don’t need Ukraine to join NATO to send troops.

13. There needs to be a new NATO at this point that has new rules and allow them to ignore /deal with members that might sabotage them… I am looking at you, Hungary.

    With democracy, the problem is that there’s a chance members might turn on us …

15. The most likely scenario is dissolution of NATO under Trump, and the formation of a new military alliance that excludes the US, Hungary, and Slovakia.

    Feels like a bit of a rugpull on the Swedes and Finns, but honestly, having them in is still better for everyone
