I’m a bit surprised how pro-Ukraine Bernie has been. This is considering how he’d been painted a pro-communist, with past statements and even visits to USSR/Cuba. A lot of former Soviet-apologists are also Russian apologists, but I’m glad Bernie hasn’t followed that path.

Calls from whom? Magats? The man is Ukranian, it’s utterly irrelevant to his position what Americans think of him.

Trump has been guzzling Russian propaganda that Zelenaksyy is somehow not popular or representative of a large majority Ukrainian position.

Trump and vance are fulfilling kremlin demands to a t: ruskies wanted Zelensky, gone, so Vance orchestrated this ludicrous ambush at the oval office, the fallout from which they are now using as a pretext to push Zelensky out. It’s disgraceful to call for an ouster of a duly elected leader of a sovereign democratic state. I think Zelenksy would not be out of line at this point to call for trump to step down as someone clearly guilty of acts of high treason against this country. Zelensky won’t do so of course for obvious reasons, but he would be well justified to do so imho.
Zelenskyy gave the terms for his resignation. End the war and let Ukraine into NATO.

They want him to resign so they can have elections that Putin can interfere with to get a Kremlin puppet installed. Like he’s been doing in Romania, Moldova, Georgia, etc.
Then Trump can get him to sign anything Putin wants him to sign. Win win for Trump, win win for Putin, lose lose for Ukraine and Zelensky who will be dead before the year’s out. The theatre that was the Oval Office press conference was part of the plan, and held for no other purpose than to denigrate Zelensky, blame him for the war, and delegitimize him as Ukraine’s leader.
A Russian sympathizer the Director of National Intelligence, De facto President Musk pushing to exit NATO, Trump aiming to lift sanctions on America’s greatest enemy, while threatening swinging tariffs on its traditional allies? At this stage the US government is just an overseas extension of the Kremlin.

Let’s put it all into perspective.
Last week Trump called Zelenski a dictator and said he should hold elections for any kind of peace plan to work while at the same time Russia said they wouldn’t recognize any elections if Zelenski ran and won. (He also ignored how Ukraine’s constitution doesn’t allow elections to be held during national emergencies due to war).
In response, Ukraine’s Parliament holds a vote, unanimously voting in favor for Zelenski remaining in power and upholding their support to follow the law and not hold elections until peace is achieved. These yes votes included ALL of the opposition parties who’d want to replace Zelenski in an election.
Now after Trump has spent the past month treating heads of state like shit around the world, being a rude PoS, he is demanding the Zelenski resign for being “rude” (aka he explained why he can’t trust a cease fire signed by Putin without security guarantees because he’s broken the last 3 he’s signed with Ukraine and Vance jumped down his throat).
And the irony of it all is Trump is doing EXACTLY what conservatives accuse Joe Biden of doing as VP, trying to force a Ukrainian official to resign for your own self benefit.
Unless you’re Ukrainian, your opinion is meaningless, one way or another.
