  23. I am an Emirati living in London this whole comparison is stupid. You are comparing a 200 year old city to a mind you Qatari owned business district in London. Too ignorant to understand any of the history regarding any GCC city. Arab owned skyscrapers in London better than Arab owned skyscrapers in the middle east cope.

  24. I have visited there only a few times, but along with Bishops Gate, it is the only place that makes me feel like I am living in one of the financial capitals of the world.

  25. People on this sub seem to hate on Canary Wharf a lot. I prefer other parts of London for sure, but I’ve had a lot of fun in CW too. Fairgame, the outdoor cinema in the park, lots of nice restaurants and it’s very clean. I’ve had a decent time there more often than not 🤷‍♂️

    One thing I find a bit weird is that it’s all private property.
