The Government’s support of EVs is one of the very few good things they’ve done in the past few years. So of course George Eustice and the Tory Government want to find a way of buggering that up.
As usual, the only question is whether they’re intentionally lying or whether they’re so blindingly stupid that they’re repeating the utter bullshit that they’ve been fed without questioning it.
Important to note that there’s a well funded campaign to spread doubt in regards to EVs. The Koch brothers in particular are involved in funding a misinformation campaign.
