Parking restrictions, a lane closure and detour are coming to Pleasure Lane in Manheim Township due to natural gas line replacement work.

The work will start Monday on Pleasure Lane from McGrann Boulevard to Crest Lane, with Pleasure Lane open one way for westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic will detoured onto Grandview and McGrann boulevards, and there may be some parking restrictions on Pleasure Lane itself. Work will take place 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, but natural gas utility UGI did not immediately respond to a request asking when work is expected to end.

The work will replace older gas mains with new mains, UGI indicated.

UGI has more than 740,000 customers in 46 counties in Pennsylvania, including about 75,000 residential natural gas customers in Lancaster County.
