Good. Arrow 3 is an incredible system, which would allow midcourse (in space, pre MIRV separation) interception of ICBMs.
Germany should invest into mililtary research aswell. Being dependent on allies is not good.
The missile protection is to be based on the “Arrow 3” system which was developed by Israel and America together, and is now manufactured in Israel. Because of this, there has already been an announcement to meet with Israeli representatives to negotiate the purchase.
The Arrow 3 system intercepts missiles up to and including ICBMs, during flight, outside the atmosphere, before MIRV separation. The system would use long-range radar in Germany to guide the defense system. Because the radar covers not only Germany but also neighboring countries such as Poland, the system should be easily expandable, with countries only needing to purchase the Arrow 3 system and integrate it into the radar network.
