The Latvian Cabinet of Ministers has approved the transfer of 31 more vehicles, previously confiscated from drunk drivers, to Ukraine.
According to LSM, once impounded, these vehicles become state property, allowing Latvia to donate them free of charge to Ukraine. The total value of the confiscated cars is estimated at €98,755.
The vehicles will be distributed among the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the National Guard, the administration of the Bohodukhiv district in the Kharkiv region, and the Sumy Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. Additionally, some cars will be provided to:

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after M. M. Amosov

Since the programme’s launch on March 10, 2023, Ukraine has received a total of 676 vehicles for both military and civilian use.
