  1. Somebody has to do it. Let’s hope that is at least as good as the US provide.

  2. France (and Macron in particular) is being a role model in their handling in the situation in Ukraine. Along with other countries such as the UK, Canada, and the others providing massive amounts of aid and other assistance to Ukraine. All shining examples of the right thing to do. And of course, Zelenskyy is incredibly brave and heroic.

Meanwhile the US has betrayed Ukraine and showed themselves as the terrorist state and Russian satellite country they are – an enemy of Ukraine, the EU, Canada and the rest of NATO.

  3. And Germany, Britain, Baltics and Poland will do the same.
Believe what you want, but to think US are the only intelligent with insight is certainly not correct. And blocking information flow works immediately in both directions.
US unpredictability is now the most severe security concern.

  4. Amazing that France has come out of this the hero and with a fairly united Europe. The last hundred or so years have been a wild ride.

  5. From a fellow EU brother from Germany:

Hell yeah France! Right now you are a freaking geopolitical role model!

  6. Boot the US out of 5 eyes and bring in France. I mean if they want to join of course.

  7. I just wish Zolensky would give up on the deal with the US. I obviously don’t understand all the financials, and why they need to agree to the plan, but it just seems so awful. Surely Europe can handle this situation??!

  8. This is great news although it was the French Intellignece that went against all other intelligence at the time and told the EU that Putin wouldn’t invade in the first place.

    I hope its improved.

  9. With they way things are going could we even Trust US intelligence to provide accurate intelligence anyway

  10. Europe leading the free world. Much love from Canada. 🇨🇦

  11. In the past it’s been the French who were called surrender monkeys but let it be shown that title is now squarely for America.

  12. Now I hope they provide intelligence to the United States. I don’t mean the military kind.

  13. Viva la France! Now for the rest of Europe to follow suit!

  14. We Germans can’t even make jokes about the French anymore, as they prove every day now they are driven by honour and strength

  15. Nice job vacating leadership of the free world, Merica. Trust is easy to lose and hard to win.

  16. It’s nice to see the world is finally learning their lesson after last time, and starting to move on without the Americans.

  17. Good guy France showing the way again!

It blows my mind how much we’ve made fun of France before, only to be shown that maybe they were the right ones all along.
I will be the first to admit my own fault, and I hope they keep on helping us Europeans make the right choices.

  18. Special relationship is dead. Friends like these cannot be trusted. They have shown their true colours.

  19. And they have a solid fucking intelligence apparatus at that!🫡

  20. Man at first it was scary to think the war will escalate till between US VS Russia.

But it’s even more scary now to think it will be US & Russia VS the whole world lol

  21. Trump decided to leave the seat of the “Leader of the free world” empty and Macron is brilliantly and swiftly filling it.

  22. Once again, the Free World thanks France,

In the early 1990’s when the USA and Russia disposed of Ukraine’s Nukes, Ukraine received security assurances that the USA would protect them in the event that hostilities ever arose. Trump has gone back on his countries word and now want’s Zelensky to appologize. Trump also called Zelensky a dictator, said that Ukraine started the war and expects to be paid back for assistance, “security assurances”, given to Ukraine over the last 3 years.

136 countries offered assistance to the USA after 9/11. I can’t remember any of them asking for their money back.

Trump is a Turd and so are his MAGA followers. He is Putin’s Puppet

Once again he has decided to break the law and wait for someone to challenge him

    From the Article:

When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Ukraine had the world’s third largest nuclear arsenal on its territory. When Ukrainian-Russian negotiations on removing these weapons from Ukraine appeared to break down in September 1993, the U.S. government engaged in a trilateral process with Ukraine and Russia. The result was the Trilateral Statement, signed in January 1994, under which Ukraine agreed to transfer the nuclear warheads to Russia for elimination. In return, Ukraine received security assurances from the United States, Russia and Britain; compensation for the economic value of the highly-enriched uranium in the warheads (which could be blended down and converted into fuel for nuclear reactors); and assistance from the United States in dismantling the missiles, missile silos, bombers and nuclear infrastructure on its territory.

  23. The power scales are shifting back towards Europe, and thanks god this time via cooperation between France Germany and UK, not because they hate each other

  24. Remember, France’s Intelligence knew in 2003 that US lies about Chemicals weapon in Irak… I think we can trust in power of Europe’s intelligence

  25. Marcon and France has really stepped up to the plate in regards to Ukraine after Trump is out to settle his personal score with Ukraine

  26. Can we revisit the Freedom Fries thing again?

And this time pay attention to why France did not allow flyovers and Saudi Arabia did?

France does not agree with invading countries and denying them sovereignty.

And if we in America had listened and not spent the last 30 years invading smaller countries and denying them sovereignty, Russia would have a lot harder time doing the same thing.

France saw American imperialism for what it was.

  27. France really is earning so much respect these days!

  28. Finally! It’s refreshing to see another NATO member stepping up instead of expecting the U.S. to carry the entire burden. For too long, some allies have been content to issue strong-worded statements while contributing a fraction of what they promised. Hopefully, this signals a shift toward actual collective defense rather than just collective expectations.
