My wife for some reason has been getting a lot of “job offers”. I believe the number she received was recycled from an elderly person (because every now and then she gets a call from that person’s friend). She gets so many of these this is how she answers them.

I believe these scammers target the elderly. Anyone else getting the same messages? Not sure how to get them to stop.

  2. I once asked who the actual employer is and whether he would pay into my social security and jobless insurance. And, uh, hello, accident insurance?

    They didn’t bother to reply. 🙂

    One of the scammers replied the job would be “rating software products, mostly mobile phone apps”. They had a professionally looking website (yep, such one isn’t expensive nowadays), but there were zero customer references. Also, no indication of what company it actually is (with legal seat, contact address and so on).

  3. The people calling you, or messaging you are not necessarily bad people. A lot of them are hostages from crime organization. They are given a phone and a computer, and they have to generate money before being released. They have to buy back their liberty at a high price. If they fail, they will get tortured.

    Just ignore them when they message you, no need to be rude to them. They are already in hell.
