   *[Australian] Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers said the government was anticipating “billions and billions of dollars worth of damage” from Cyclone Alfred as it creeps toward the Queensland coast.*

   *”There’s about 4.5 million Australians potentially in harm’s way,” he told Today. “That’s about 1.8 million homes.”*

   *As well as preparing for the cyclone safety-wise, he urged people to make sure they had their MyGov details sorted and brush up on making insurance claims.*
