  1. Yaroslav Horyansky defended Ukraine from the Russian invasion as early as 2017. After mobilisation, he studied and worked abroad. When the full-scale war began, this veteran decided to return to Ukraine after three years of living in the EU to save lives. Now, as a combat medic, he conducts evacuations, provides first aid, and, when necessary, even goes on assaults with his comrades.

    In this video, Yaroslav talks about the biggest moral challenges faced by combat medics on the front lines and what keeps their spirits up while saving lives from an enemy bent on total destruction.
