  2. This is all posturing. If they sit on the table, eventually, a compromise can be made. What matters is the situation on the battlefield (who is winning) is reflected on the agreement

  3. Well, why am I not surprised? The point people don’t seem to understand is that any peace deal will require Russia’s acceptance. Because if they don’t, how are you going to pressure them? Tell them they’ll have to go to war?? This is why Europe is completely powerless here. It is literally irrelevant. And since this seems to upset many, it is not that I want or hope or wish Europe irrelevant, it is simply an observation of facts. If anyone believes Europe is not irrelevant, please tell me how else could Europe pressure Russia to accept anything, really. There’s only one and one way only to make yourself relevant in this game, have the wherewithal to go to war with Russia directly. No yapping from the sidelines whilst Ukrainians die, go in for yourself. Lacking that, no amount of sanctions, diplomatic pressure or anything else will do. The Russians are dying, why would they listen to sofa experts? Put up or shut up, that’s how they think about it. I don’t know about you, but i would not go to Ukraine to fight Russians. Majority of Europeans thinks the same.

  5. It’s pretty funny how they call an idea that exists only in the EU’s imagination ‘a compromise’

    If Russia proposes to occupy Kyiv as a part of the peace plan, will EU rejecting that also be called ‘rejecting a compromise’

    The sooner the EU stops pretending that it has any kind of leverage over Russia and living in dreamland, the sooner we can probably get to some kind of ceasefire. Russia has to agree. It is in the dominant position.

  6. They want the US there as civilians only, avoid them by getting told their movements by Trump then they can get Trump to ignore any incursions elsewhere, and further espionage and infiltrations into Ukraine’s institutions.
