The revamped version of “Esa Diva” and its official music video will be released on March 13.

Eurovision Spain reports that RTVE will reveal the final version of its entry for the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest on March 13. The outlet states that the reworked “Esa Diva” and its associated music video will be revealed following a month’s work on elevating the entry.

The music video for “Esa Diva” was recorded in Madrid this past week, with Mario Ruiz, who will provide artistic direction for Basel, overseeing the video.

The revamp of the song has been carried out by EIGHTY4 and Rick Parkhouse and George Tizzard at Red Triangle Records. The song was worked on at the end of February in Christchurch, UK with the aim to highlight Melody’s vocals. The song is now described as building through its duration and having a “Spanish stamp”.

Melody won Benidorm Fest 2025 and secured her place as Spain’s representative for Eurovision in Basel this May. With a total of 150 points, she impressed the professional jury, placing third with 70 points, and won the televote, earning the maximum 80 points. She will perform in the Grand Final on May 17th.

Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since, making them the longest participating country that has never withdrawn. Spain has won the contest on two occasions; the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
