This sculpture by Bruno Catalano is dedicated to emigrants leaving their homeland with emptiness inside and going nowhere… Could a similar piece be placed somewhere in Ireland ?

Go to a remote part of Ireland and look at the emptyness. This symbolises the diaspora who have not overpopulated the country. May they stay the feck away, with their notions. Who needs a sculpture
Annie Moore statue in cobh
[There’s a pretty cool one in Lahardane](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/ac/37/84/ac3784331d215e5fec250f8a3afd50bc.jpg)

I feel like we’ve got a lot of depressing bronze-ish sculptures about the famine/emigration
I’d like more beautiful or inspiring things like the Choctaw piece down in Cork
Even with how sad being forced to emigrate is ‘going nowhere’ seems like an odd message to send given how much we celebrate successful Irish emigrants and their descendants.
So… heres my question…
Is that not what the emigrant flame is for??
Ya just needs a good foundation and maybe to be bolted to the ground
My immediate thoughts are that councils wouldn’t allow due to the sharp edges and possibility of injury claims ha. Looks cool tho
