The pessimism in me wants to know if Russia takes over Ukraine, how long will it be before they decide to take Moldova, Georgia and then the Baltics/Eastern Poland?

Crazy to think the USA support this sorry excuse for a military that is the Russian army now.
These men are literally fighting over rubble. It’s not a town anymore it’s capturing that heap of bricks and holes in the ground
this seems to be one of the larger mechanized assaults i have seen from the russians in a long time.

The Russians musta been saving up on BMPs and tanks over the past several months to get enough together to conduct a mechanized assault like this: a *company-sized* assault – and must sense that they are very near to taking control of the settlement. But a fool and his money soon part and it seems they’ll now realize that Chasiv Yar is not quite ready for joining the glorious Rus-mir just yet: they’ll have to spend another month or so saving up more Soviet shitcans and men and trying it all again.
They’ll eventually take the place, after 11 months (first attacked on/abt April 4/24) of already trying, failing, repeat, by crawling over the Russian corpses and wrecked armor of those that tried before them and after the Ukrainian defenders have found that defending the heaps of rubble untenable and have left to more robust lines not far away (although not within the settlement) to fight another day.
This scenario that the Russians play out over and over and over, like a newbie guitarist who has just learned how to play *Stairway to Heaven* or *Smoke On the Water* or maybe *Tom Sawyer*, reminds me of the massive Russian armored and logistical columns of late Feb, Mar and early April of 2022 that Ukrainians had disabled/destroyed/captured – *before* they had anything Western, such as Trumpet’s Javelins, just Soviet shit – when this whole Rooskie shitshow of Pootin’s first began.
Currently, elements of the Chechen “Akhmat” Spetsnaz and 215th Reconnaissance Battalion (98th Airborne [VDV] Division) are reportedly operating within Chasiv Yar (ISW). Not sure who the mechanized units were with – maybe the 98th. And with Apti’s Akhmut elite fighters there, this could take a while – taking TikTok videos of tree and bush annihilating takes time.
