  5. Canada is really standing up for themselves, and I applaud them for ALL of it! 1/3 of Amerikkka is lost, another 1/3 is apathetic, and the final 1/3 isn’t doing enough to balance it out. I truly believe that we have to feel as much pain as possible to get people angry enough to get active and stop Phony Stark and Putin’s puppet.

  6. I live in Washington. I appreciate that they’re finding ways to leave us out of this. A lot of people in Washington feel a real kinship with BC.

  10. I can’t believe we’ve been subsidizing Alaska for so long by allowing their trucks to drive on our roads for free. Finally someone standing up for canada. No more subsidies and free rides. Pay your fair share. 

  11. BC is quite dependent on produce from Mexico or California. We’re 100% going to take a hit when the US tolls trucks from Mexico, and it’s still worth it.

  16. Truck driver’s should also pay for a Canadian driver’s license. Or require the company to purchase Canadian driver permits for those that don’t have them. Truck over a certain weight. Charged an additional surcharge for exceeding the approved weight capacity for foreign vehicles. Truck needs to go during winter? Hazard surcharge for the roads to be maintained. Those eggs are gonna cost as much as the Alaska Permanent Fund gives out.

    What’s it like having a government that takes threats seriously and doesn’t let some chud back out of his own bad decisions because it negatively effects himself? No idea, we wouldn’t know, ours just holds ping pong paddles and votes against their own members who stop pretending etiquette matters with fascists.

  22. Honestly, Alaska should be part of Canada anyways. Once America crashes their economy, we can pick up Alaska for cheap. Give them what they need. Healthcare.

The United States has decided the only thing that will make it feel superior in this world is by finding hornets nests, tearing them down then hugging and punching it while being mercilessly stung by confused hornets. The reaction of every other country watching, “…why…why did you do that?”

  29. I live in Alaska and did not vote for Trump. Things are expensive (and annoying) here, and this won’t help.

    But also, I can’t blame Canada for considering this. We F’dA, and will FO. I’m confident Trump will retaliate in the most ridiculous way possible.

    I wish Alaskans who voted for him would learn from this. But they won’t.
