    With current rapid progress in neurobiology and theory of mind just imagine this shit in 15 years. Im fucking hyped, sci fi shit, and is right around the corner. I mean – this is already sci-fi shit.

    Can’t image what my parents must feel, who due to being born in eastern block got up to date technology in the late 90’s. Before that my father was the first and only one in the entire district who had a color tv, and groups of people came to his house to watch tv, like we meet to play xbox. Now a fucking language model speaks cleaner more fluent polish than any of us, with basic reasoning and impressively objective summary of popular knowledge, indistinguishable from a real human responses at a glance. How are all 60+ people not freaking the fuck out all the time? Each time i use chatGPT im in awe of how early that happened. When i watched star wars as a kid and saw 3CPO talking like human i was like “YEEEAHH RIGHT, Lightsabers maybe someday but how do you make the robot human like assistant that understands and reasons.

    I was 8 but still.

    Good or bad, can’t wait. Would you rather take part in an apocalypse or have a leukemia? Life is dope.
