This is what makes our delicious food even better!
Cope & seethe, Hans. Cope & seethe
And Maggi for Germany
What’s that weird looking black stuff on the left?
The spice one should just be an American flag instead
Every single American food review video is either “they’ve seasoned this up so well!” (meaning they’ve just dumped old bay over everything) Or “Could use more seasoning” because they can actually taste the base ingredients and their palates get confused
Well not popular but my grand mother always told me: step 1, onions and garlic into the pan step 2, Thinking about what I’m going to cook.
Salt and pepper isn’t enough imho.
Dutch cuisine can be very bland but thanks to our colonial past we actually do use a lot of different spices. We just don’t use much of it. In all old recipes you see stuff like cloves and nutmeg.
What are you talking about? PIGS cuisine barely uses any spices because is about the base product quality.
Barry is the one who has adopted curry as their national dish and Hans survives on Durum.
The only people who boast about having no taste buds
Forgot Worcestershire sauce
I don’t get it. Why is it always about spices? Why nobody talks about herbs?
What are you doing saying we don’t really use spices like at all
East India companies killing and warmongering for centuries so these people can end up eating like POW’s
As an avid cook, I don’t think our southern neighbours use this clearly Indian spice mix. If anyone, Barry does, literally the only place in Europe that had authentic Indian food.
Garlic…the answer to All is Garlic if Im honest
Also Eastern European, specifically Polish, seasoning is, what I found out through my relationship, just goated. PIGS in shambles as they cant compete with virtually anyone else on seasoning.
Pepper optional
This is not what i see in summer in Southern Europe..
Bro we’re not India
3/4 of the world couldn’t even cook without our Maggi and Aromat.
As Italian i can confirm we do not have any salt or pepper
*powder
Who needs spices when you have Worcestershire sauce 💪
…..the Dutch? I’ve hunted a “local cousine” restaurant after going to the recommended Chinese restaurants in Amsterdam. It’s everything but salt and pepper (and it sucked because you couldn’t even tell what you were eating after everything they added to it, spices are to enhance not to cover btw)
didn’t the Dutch do an entire genocide to control the nutmeg production on the East Indies? Not even we went that far for spices.
Wtf is that black thing he is holding to the right. Never seen something like it before. I will stick to salt please
Ah, my poor little fellas. Good oil (EVO) is our only true ingredient (maybe garlic as well?). We do not need the spices. We brought them from the east to Europe so you could try mimicking a fraction of our cuisine. But you were too stubborn to incorporate them.
No one in Italy is using those spices, actially using spices is a good way to get rid of your Italian guests quickly.
Put coriander and Luigi will cry!
Use Cumin and Mario will declare war!
Cinnamon will send Filomena straight to Church asking for forgiveness!
