  1. Submission Statement: The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the French ambassador to Algeria, Stéphane Romatet, to formally protest France’s participation in joint military exercises with Morocco.

    My question to Algerians: Morocco has held multiple military drills with France as well as the USA, even Algerian military held military drills with Russia close the the Moroccan border, no complains then, so what are they on about now?

  2. Morroco-Algeria has one of the more severe beef, btw two otherwise very similar countries.

    I get the dispute over the western Sahara isn’t substances, but it sure is hard to see it causes a decade-long cold conflict.

  3. I don’t understand what is the end goal of Algeria. For the first part of Macron presidency he really tried to further France-Algérie relationship, sometime at the cost of irritating Morocco a lot. It went NOWHERE. What is happening now is the réalisation it was wasted time.
