  21. I remember reading many years ago that there are some people who believe that people who become Supreme Court justices will often change their hardened positions when they are on the court. There were a number of possible explanations (no worrying about opposition or unpopularity or losing their job, or maybe having more time to consider their opinions and having others to discuss ideas with). Maybe Coney Barrett is waking up to some truths she was previously sheltered from knowing.
