As a Ukrainian, I am still interested in why we were attacked, what is the meaning of all this. There are many guesses, money or power. Or suppress a nation that resists. You can talk about this endlessly, and in the end you will never know the truth. Which, in any case, no one will say to ordinary people. Therefore, we will hold on until the end, whatever it is.

Russia should have invaded China, Vietnam or Brazil for the motherload not Ukraine.
Maxar Technologies has restricted Ukraine’s access to its satellite imagery since early March 2025.
It would be interesting if someone could generate a size map of Russia based on Ukraine’s population density

And most don’t know that Russia starved millions of people by taking wheat and resources. Russia needs Ukrainian resources.
On one hand, since Northern Ukraine has so much more land, it does kind of make sense to roll original Ukraine into it, but Northern Ukraine is still struggling with Russian invaders so it would be more sustainable to start from original Ukraine and gradually roll Northern Ukraine into full governance piece by piece, or just break off some to manage itself or get assistance from allies.
But the country in red is being SURROUNDED!
I never realised before just how bloated and disgusting russia looks, like a tumor on the Earth. Matches their behaviour so it makes sense I guess.
If I were to play Europa Universalis 4, I’d say I understand.

People keep saying Ukraine was invaded as if Trump would care. He doesn’t. He probably loves the Roman Empire, ancient kings and empires etc…. It’s all about power and giving him tribute.
