  1. Even with a 95% drop, the stock will be overpriced for future potential. Tesla is shrinking fast and will likely be sold in a fire sale in 2027 to BYD or some other Asian car company.

  2. 95% drop LMFAO

    Jesus what an asymmetrical opportunity

    Feels like 2019

  3. I posted this elsewhere but feel fits nicely here

People don’t seem to grasp that *there is no market left for Teslas* other than the US. Even there half the people hate the brand with a passion now.

Europe was the only wealthy market left for Tesla and, due to a certain idiot, nobody wants to touch a Tesla vehicle here. Sales are falling like a rock and are unlikely to ever make a comeback. The US also has three more big brands competing in an increasingly shrinking market.

China and the rest of the world (including places with a lot of demand like Brazil and Australia) are lost to Chinese brands who make better vehicles for a fraction of the price. Go to any country in the global south and 9/10 of new electric vehicles will be BYD, Xiaomi etc. When you get so much market share it becomes self-reinforcing. People see the Chinese car their neighbor got is actually not bad at all and are more likely to pick it. Local mechanics and supply chains orient around what people buy and soon there’s no room left for Teslas to break in. It can’t even survive as a niche brand because of its quality issues.

Tesla is a meme stock and can only stay up while the market is irrational. Yes this can be surprisingly long but it’s not forever.

  4. Tesla needs to break away from Elon. I know his whole family is on the board, but if they want to save the brand and keep moving forward they need to do something. I mean I dont care if it goes bankrupt, but we do need EV options. And other car makers are catching up slowly.

  5. The long winded pump and dump scheme finally hitting the dump
