2. Trump is a blow hard about certain things. About NATO, most of what he says is absolutely true. Our so called allies haven’t met their military spending commitments in, not years, but decades. It took a war in Europe to make them rethink that. Not only have they neglected their own military capabilities, they enabled Russia to rebuild theirs. Years of buying Russian petroleum products, which continues to this day paid for the Ukrainian War.

   Britain, Poland, Greece and the Baltic countries can ignore this. They have met their targets. Germany, France, Italy have most of the rest of Europe has done nothing but freeload off of American taxpayers.
