How many more species will we let disappear? Extinctions will accelerate rapidly if global temperatures continue to rise. Cutting emissions has to come first.

1. Our approach is wrong. We can’t tell people what will eventually happen.

   We have to tell people how this affects them now. Like their house will be gone

4. Apparently trying to do anything to stop the coming environmental collapse just makes people want to vote for Nazis, hastening the coming environmental collapse.

   People “say” they care about the environment, but they certainly don’t really VOTE like they care. And so the people who think all climate change is bullshit are the ones currently in power.

6. If we cut emissions.. if we cut emissions..coal had its biggest year ever last year.. catastrophic change is already baked in. Get ready for the largest human migration in 250,000 years. I wonder how many species will be left in the wake of this filter.

9. That’s hilarious that people still think emissions are going to stop rising – much less go away – before we blast through all the climate tipping points. Human emissions will almost stop completely within the next 20-40 years, after global industrial civilization has completely collapsed and human population is reduced by 4-6 billion.. but obviously not before then. Emissions will continue to rise for centuries as permafrost continues to thaw and forests burn themselves to dry scrubland.
