Flanders (part of Belgium 🇧🇪 ) just collected 17,7 million euros for Ukraine 🇺🇦 in a benefit show.

  1. Bijna een vijftigste van wat Biden gisteren aan militair materieel ‘schonk’. In wat voor kutwereld leven we eigenlijk…

  2. Not to ruin the sentiment, but I somehow seriously doubt the intentions of these shows. How much of the money will be used to actually help Ukraine? I read somewhere that only a fraction of the gathered money has to actually be spent on the cause(to be concidered a charity/nonprofit), while the bulk can go to growing the charity organisation, which might include actual big salaries to executives. I wondered the same for qmusic and hln/vtm yearly rode neuzen dag. I sent emails to schools that registered for psychological help and were listed on the rode neuzen dag website, asking them if they benefited from the help. Out of 10 emails sent, zero replied. (This does not prove an actual point btw, but I would love to know about the actual spending per school)
They probably helped some schools create a time-out zone for stressed out kids (that were removed after 2 weeks because no student uses them probably), but I bet over half went into dpg media’s pockets. I’d love to be proven wrong.

  3. I’m sorry but that title is so Flemish i had to laugh… People from Brussels dont watch flemish TV? stop splitting our country like this man its not healthy for anyone

  4. What happens with the social media incomes that channels get from this?

Also funny how left is now “eigen volk eerst” (Pepinster victims), and right are “Wilde weldoeners” for refugees. This reality is broken.

  5. I listened for a little bit yesterday.

There was a part where some singer that I have never heard of said that this whole crisis deeply affects her. Because the grandmother of her choreographer is Ukranian. Then the radiohost acted like she was so brave.

How detached from reality can you be? “Hm there’s probably the biggest crisis in Europe since WWII, how can I make this about ME?”
