So prerogatives of the Crown lie in abeyance only for as long as a statute deems them to be overridden. In the alternative, a statute can revive previously extinguished royal prerogatives. Either way, shit is fucked up.
Well it was never binding, only worked once and was basically a pointless publicity stunt from a discredited leader of a dying party so…
