  3. The French strategic independence has been an amazing foresight! We put all our eggs in the American basket and there we are today totally naked in front of the Russians when the US pulls out! Thank god we have France on our side with a full scale military and intelligence capabilities fully independent from the US interests! We owe France a sincere apology!

  11. How do those frog-eaters do it? When they come up in news, it’s always something that makes me admire them.

    America was supposed to be the role model country for the western world and really every country that wants to try democracy. France took it as such and even though their revolution failed, they never forgot their values and always protest effectively when their government does something they don’t like.

    Now they might be crucial in helping Ukraine.

  23. I’m so disappointed in my country and can’t believe they are abandoning Ukraine. Please remember that Trump only received votes from like 22% of the American population so he definitely doesn’t speak for the people.

One good that has come from this very disturbing shift in the United States is that all nations in the world now understand how easy it always was to compromise the United States and HOW LUCKY they are that it does not have a more intelligent and organized administration doing all this damage.   28. If someone came to me 10 years ago and said that “in 2025 European nations will despise the US and instead look to other European nations for strength, support and defence”, I would have laughed them straight in the face. But here we are.
    The French and British have shown amazing forethought, and as long as the rest of Europe starts following suit, they might actually be the reason why we get out of this on top.
