I wasn’t alive during the Reagan administration, but historically Reagan had a far worse impact on American society than Trump.

Reagan actively had policies that lasted decades and still affect us today, such as cutting social security, cutting funding towards higher education, eliminating pensions for 401ks, the literal demonization of gays through the AIDS epidemic, etc. I could go on and on.
Trump’s only lasting impacts have been his tax cuts, and here they are doing that again. Everything else he does is shitty, but temporary.
