Can anyone tell me if this is true or find a way to tell me it’s fake or not? I have a hard time believing Zelensky would do that.

  1. I would ask the poster of the video to prove his facts…. this could be a deserter, it could be a criminal, it could be a spy. Who knows this is why we ask the tough questions though.

  2. Well, that’s drafting…in war times. At least, a wounded AFU soldier is healed and replaced . Orcs forces wounded to go back to the front lines if they can walk with crutches.

  3. I don’t know anything about this video.

    But, in countries with conscription, avoiding your service is a crime and you can expect to be arrested and compelled to report to duty. So it shouldn’t be particularly shocking to see someone detained.

    The difference between a kidnap and an arrest is simply a question of who gave the order.

    Now if there was evidence of excessive force or torture that would certainly be concerning. And I do worry about the dog as well, so that was a bit douche. I’ve seen cops in my country do bad things to pets and it’s not right.

  5. The people who complain about this are the same ones who would dodge the draft if their country was invaded.

  6. This might be a draft dodger. Men over the age of 25 need to show up for military service.

    If they don’t show up, military police will come for them and take them into custody. Same as any other country that has a draft.

  8. If you ask the Ukrainians, they will know this as the Safari – the people who hunt people for the military and it is absolutely true.

    My fiancée is a Ukrainian and her uncle finally turned himself in at the conscription office as he was so tired of having to hide from them all of the time. They will take the bus drivers off the bus whilst doing their jobs. They will wait for men getting off the metro on their way to work.

    This doesn’t mean you should stop supporting Ukraine but it does mean you have to realise that Ukraine’s man power shortage is very real despite what people on the internet tell you and that the Ukrainian govt and armed forces are not beyond utilising seemingly upsetting methods.

    Other countries would do exactly the same thing in the same situation.

  11. Russian propaganda always blows these out of proportion. Probably some of these videos are real though. But they could be old or out of context I guess. Usually people who get arrested are avoiding the draft for a long time

  13. I’m pretty sure this isn’t yesterday because I’m 99% sure I’ve seen/heard this before with the dog being left, that alone leaves me feeling negative about the accuracy of the poster.
