  1. 34th rule of acquisition: war is good for business…

  2. He’s doing very well at uniting Europe and bridging the gap with the US, diplomatically, so far. But what we need now is concrete action from a once again united Europe.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for us all to pull together and push back against two massive injustices – a drive for reservists would be a good step.

  3. Fuck Trump, Keir ain’t doing bad time to light the beacons.

  4. be nice if he could be this good at the domestic level.

  5. I think he’s done pretty amazing considering the unpredictable nature of Agent Orange. I’m glad that he and other European leaders seem to be finally taking notice that America is no longer a leader in the west and Europe needs its own military strategies and manufacturing. Throwing the shiny state visit in front of Trump like a new toy to a petulant toddler was a nice touch too.

  6. Love him or hate him, we all need Starmer to be the man right now. This might turn out to be one of the most important junctures in the past 70 years, we need a Churchill not a Chamberlain (with a little less racism though preferably).

  7. He’s walking a tightrope, trying to balance everything. I think he’s doing a very good job. Also for the first time in my life Kier and Trump have managed to instil a bit of British pride in me! (life long SNP supporter)

  8. similar to what happened to Maggie during the Falklands War

  9. That’s surprising considering the amount of ass licking he did at the White House the other week

  10. He needs to swing slightly more central then he’s the full package

  11. Dear god people are easily led. Democracy was possibly the biggest error in history.

  12. Let’s just see how this peacekeeping thing works out before we give him a statue!

  13. He better prove his worth and stop the Americanisation of Britishness currently invading everything.

  14. You have to throw your weight behind the person doing the most for the right thing.

You don’t have to like them or their politics, just respect the Job Title and their ability (if demonstrated) to handle their actual job.

  15. So stunning and so brave. The far right thugs must be over the moon that such a hero is braving it all to defend the realm

It is amazing that the U.K. can be both an insignificant little island full of little Englanders and also the bastion of the free.

How cool is it that 60+ year old boomers who have watched too much Bond and have a hate boner for the commies love Starmer.

    Give me a fucking break.

  16. I’ll vote for him. He’s not a spineless jellied amoeba unlike his predecessors..
Staunch conservative but I’ll vote for him next time round

  17. Starmer is a quiet unflashy backroom kind of guy but he seems super bright and to be fair his style has propelled him to his position of power, so fair play. It warmed my heart to see him behave with kindness and respect to Zelensky (ie normally) last weekend after his bashing. When Starmer gave Z a hug- well I’m not a particular fan but god did my heart swell with pride.

  18. this is good but it does highlight how sheep like people are. People en masse shift their opinion at the drop of a hat. One minute they hate someone then they see something else and immediately approve. He’s always been a man of integrity and wanting to do a good job. I don’t agree with everything he decides but I was backing him before the Zelensky thing happened and still now. Just find it interesting so many people calling for him to resign two seconds after being elected because they wanted someone like Trump. Popular opinion spins on a dime. It’s quite silly.

  19. Let’s see how it dips massively in April, after a blood bath of job cuts.

  20. Well. It’s more difficult for the right in the UK to dominate the media landscape because of what’s happening in the USA and Ukraine.

  21. Europeans are stupid and throwing their money away on ghosts
