MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – The Mississippi Children’s Museum of Meridian invited kids to think big and be stellar today with their annual Space Day.
This day focuses on all things space, with visitors from NASA, Mississippi State, and plenty of books for kids to take home.
Kids learned about stars, planets, and how the moon changes its phases.
April Hardin with MCM-Meridian said days like this are always made better with their special guests.
“We’ve had incredible turnout and have amazing people that have plugged in to help us. People from Mississippi State, the space activities, the Junior Auxiliary brought free books for the children, so it’s just been a glorious day.”
Hardin also said to look for MCM-Meridian’s upcoming spring break activities, starting on March 10th.
