3. Justin is a highly unreliable ally. He threatened India last year, cut off all diplomatic relations to save a terrorist, and is now doing the same with the US. He is never worried about the concerns India and the US have. Canada is now a hub of drug trade and separatist movements, which is hurting their allies and Justil is not listening …just arguing that all is well in Cananda and India/US are wrong.

27. Very good speech. Made it clear that Canada wants to be a good neighbour to USA and wants to work with USA, not against them. Also made it clear that this trade war is not good for either USA or Canada, but that Canada will respond and work to save their jobs.

    He made one big mistake however. He quoted facts to President Trump. Donald values many commodities, but facts and truth are not two of them!

33. Canada tariffs us heavily already. Now we tariff them. Then they tariff us more. And then of course the US is portrayed as the bad guy. We are $37 trillion in debt. Tough decisions need to be made.

34. As an American, I fully support Canada's actions. However, a quid pro quo level of tariffs will not force King Trump to react. The size of Canadian tariffs should be double the size of American tariffs and should specifically target imports from red states. I like the idea of a 100% tariff on Teslas and Florida citrus. Appropriately said, our government has chosen to do this to us, its own people.

35. Canada will prevail because of our inclusive institutions compared to America’s extractive institutions. There is no way that a country whose sole focus is self enrichment allocates tariff revenue fairly. They’ll starve their own people, there will be no need for Canada to retaliate further beyond needing to tariff to collect and allocate income for affected people. We got this.
