  1. nothing says “i’m a maga badass!” more than hiding from your constituents. /s

  2. She really does seem to be emerging as one of the key leading democrats. AOC, Crockett, and now Al Green – where are the rest?

  3. Doing anything is better than what they’re currently doing

  5. Great idea. Certain Democrats should go hold town halls in Republican held districts.

  6. – every democratic Rep and Senator should go into the respective GOP held districts and hold their own townhalls and call out the GOP Rep or Senator as cowards….as that is exactly what they are Putin cowards, shaming all those you died in defending our country against the likes of them

  7. She is right, dems should be on red district town halls every week

  8. But Vance told Europe not to hide from their voters!

  9. Any Republican rep backing out of a town hall needs to be swarmed by Democratic reps providing alternatives!

  10. Host town halls in republican districts!! Giddy up yall!!

  11. AOC is absolutely right. Hold town halls and invite the press. Call the Republican’s out by name that refuse to face the people.

  12. We have way more power than they do. We need to hit them in the pocketbook. We have to stop giving money to the companies that fund these politicians and policies. We need to make these ideologies unprofitable.

  13. She’s one of the few good ones who understands the assignment.

We need to protect her as the priceless gem she is.

  14. Democrats should 100% go and hold town halls in every one of these towns.

  15. AOC will become the first female President. Not a matter of IF, just when.

  16. Democrats should start hosting town halls in the districts that the republicans refuse to, and state that if the Republican shows up, they can have the floor for the entire night (and stand by that process). Either democrats get to speak with the constituents, or the Republican has to.

  17. Spoiler alert – other than AOC, Bernie, and maybe a couple others, not one democrat is going to lift a finger to do a town hall.

So laughably weak. Pathetic. Cower in fear in the face of danger.

  18. They should hold them IN THE REPUBLICAN DISTRICTS. Like Tim Waltz offered to do. Don’t just ask, hold them, announce them, even invite the (R) rep to (not) show up.

  19. The Dems won’t do it though. It’s a golden opportunity but they aren’t going to be taking advantage of it.

  20. When do democrats chose their midterm candidates to run against the republicans? They should start that now and have the Candidates host town halls in the districts of every republican. Show the people that were willing to talk to you but your own representative won’t. Maybe you should vote for us.

  21. Good strategy: primary them. Starting now by holding town hall meetings with candidates from opposing parties.

  22. Where are the rest of the Democratic “leadership”? Why are they not pressing this? Why are they in hiding?

  23. My R representative has held these only in the rich area of our gerrymandered-to hell district. Unfortunately that’s two counties and two hours away.

  24. She has always been smart and on point. She’s a great communicator. I like how she is increasingly being seen by others as a voice of reason. I hope she sticks around.
