With bombs flying around their country, most Ukranians are „disabled“. Bomb shrapnel by Russian Rapist Nuclear Terrorists hurts and kills just as much if you are able bodied, depressed or in a wheelchair.
Also chronic conditions and illnesses. One of my relatives has type 1 diabetes. This is a much bigger issue than people who never dealt with this sort of thing realize. If you’re cut off from insuline supplies for a few days, this is a death sentence.
There are many parts of the world where there are tenuous health supply chains, even without war.
Our hearts should go out to everyone who lacks in medical supplies. It is going to be the future for more people and is already the present for many nations.
The system is fragile. And highly controlled by the industries/businesses that provide the various chemicals/medicines.
