Just back from 2 weeks in Kenya. Safari trip with a start in Nairobi National Park. A day in Aberdere, few days up in Samburu, Lakes Naivasha & Nakuru. Finishing off with a few days in the Maasai Mara. Spectacular place.
Not yet, despite being with Kikuyu woman for over 2 decades.
We’ll get to it, eventually. Considering retiring somewhere on the Kenyan coast.

I went to Kenya 2 years ago. Did the safari tourist thing; Aberdare, Samburu, Lake Naivasha, and the Maasai Mara. Also had a few days at Mombasa. It was truly spectacular, loved every minute of it.
Best holiday I’ve been on. I’d love to go back.
Do tell me more feel free to DM, I’m looking for some ideas for retirement. I’m around 5 years away from early retirement and thought I would bounce round the world using 90 day visitor visas and purchasing small houses needing some work….. Then no costs just flights and living…. Thinking a base in Scotland (downsizing) then one in shengen (Spain or Italy), one in Asia and one on South America….. Never thought of Kenya so please do tell me more? How did you get there? Cost of living? Prices of housing? The pictures look amazing so some detail on that would be brilliant! (FYI this plan only works if Trump and Putin don’t fuck us all first, physically, financially and emotionally)

25 years ago my Mum and I and 2 of her teacher friends and I went to Gazi to visit the school for 2/3 weeks. We definitely went to Diani at some point, it was a long time ago, I don’t remember where exactly. We had the best time in Gazi and travelling around the area, thanks for bringing back those memories!
