The Embassy of Hungary in Manila and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) of the Philippines will co-host the Hungary- Philippines Friendship Week 2025, a week-long celebration highlighting the enduring friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
This year’s event commemorates the 177th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence (1848–49) with rich Hungarian literature and cinematography, the significant milestone of opening the Migrant Workers Office in Budapest last year and of course with over 50 years of diplomatic relations, this Friendship Week underscores shared achievements and continued cooperation between the two countries.
