It’s obviously moronic but he sure sounds like he believes it and, while he has a ton of experience lying, he’s really not this good at it.

    So I am assuming that the “conspiracy theory” that these billionaires want to create economic havoc to increase their wealth in the chaos, like they did during Covid, is sounding plausible. We certainly have motive, opportunity and multiple predicate acts by now…I believe the whole mess is already at a basic RICO indictment threshold.

  18. Weird. Cause when you tried to implement tariffs the stock market didn’t react well. Then the countries you were trying to implement tariffs on, just put tariffs on the USA. Soooo, is their tariffs canceling out our tariffs profit. Hmmm. Even if you don’t know what tariffs are, you should be able to recognize the consequences and it’s not good.

  31. We need trillions from tariffs not hundreds of billions. How exactly is bringing in hundreds of billions of dollars going to make the US rich? We have a 6 trillion dollar budget. 900 billion is 13% of a 6.75 trillion budget. It doesn’t even make sense

    Tariff money goes to the government, not our pockets. It is a way of lowering taxes on billionaires while making us pay more for everyday items. His tax plan RAISES taxes on the average American, just as the 2017 “tax cuts” did.

    I’m just so confused at this point. Maybe its because of the 5+ college level econ classes I’ve taken… I really wish I was dumb and could just blindly believe this nonsense. It would be so much easier to live in make-believe-land than in actual reality.

    I feel sorry for any econ major that is learning about this stuff, and then seeing the exact opposite happen in reality. It’s the same for all the law students. Constitutional law must be an absolute joke to teach right now.

  39. Anyone bother to ask how will the US take in hundreds of billions of dollars? Where is that money coming from? I would think that this would be an important question! My knowledge of tariffs is a company imports an item and if there is a tariff they pay it, then decide whether or not to pass that on to the consumers…
