STARLINK SPAT
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Poland’s foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski of “making things up” and suggested on Sunday he was ungrateful, in a strong rebuke after Sikorski said Ukraine may need an alternative to the Starlink satellite service.
FRENCH NUCLEAR UMBRELLA
Polish President Andrzej Duda told French broadcaster LCI in an interview broadcast on Sunday that he was in favour of the idea of France extending its nuclear umbrella to cover Poland.
SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE
Poles continue to support Ukraine, even without the US, as do the French, the British and, to a lesser extent, the Germans. But Poland is also showing growing expectations towards Ukrainians, Rzeczpospolita daily reported, citing an IBRiS survey.
