  6. At this point the sales are so poor that it can be doubted that Tesla can even maintain its sales and support network – which makes these cars even less appealing.

    Oh, and has anyone yet seen the fully automatic driving feature by which your Tesla will earn money as a taxi while you don’t need it? Musk promised that to be ready by 2018!

  7. It would be interesting to see model specific changes in sales. How much of this is explained by people waiting for the updated Model Y?

  9. For Tesla owners, we need a FOSS software to run it. The cars are easy to maintain, we debadge, and there we go.

  10. China is slowly taking control of Tesla.

    You can see that every time it goes down, it goes back where it was few hours before before going down again at a regular basis. That the chinese slowly buying the stock. Wont be long before we see China taking 51% of it I guess.

  26. Three years ago I was considering buying an electric car and actually quality/price Tesla offers a really good deal. So I really considered buying one.

    I am so happy in the end I went for a Skoda. This is a case study on how to destroy a brand.

  35. People have spoken with their wallets. People no longer want to buy Teslas because of the political association with Musk, since there are many better electric car alternatives such as Polestar, Rivian, BYD, Xiaomi, etc.

  47. Tesla is cooking the books in Canda sales to get more Government EV grants. Is it the same in the EU?.
