    After rep. Al green was removed from the presidential address, he said he did what he did because the administration uses ‘incivility against our civility’. He is right. Normal political silent protest and political etiquette won’t work here. Or democracy/government is being dismantled and constitution abused. We need to be loud and take our voices to the streets! Show representatives on both sides what it’s like to do what’s right. They represent the people, not a king. People, if not now, when?

  4. I can almost understand not everyone having the courage to do what he did but it is kind of disgusting that dems would censure him.

  7. He is correct unfortunately it seems like most of the elected representatives want to play dead. I read a article today how dome donors and Democratic leadership are upset with Bernie doing his anti oligarchy tour. Instead they want representatives going to gun shows, churches basically chasing the mythical right that votes democratic.

    Playing dead will get us nowhere. It’s the same tactic that German opposition took to Hitler in Germany. “give them enough rope to hang themselves” has its place… But this sure as hell isn’t it.

    The GOP is denying townhall because they say they’re overrun with “paid protesters.” there’s an easy counter to that. Call continually. Show up to their offices in person. Make them face you, and hold them accountable.

    There’s a threshold in numbers where the “paid protesters” argument falls apart because the money required wouldn’t be feasible. So get out there and destroy the false narrative.

  11. Good Trouble, a true patriot. I was very disappointed that no other democrats joined him. Strength in numbers! What could Mike Johnson do? As long as the democrats focus on civility and not action, they will remain as the opposition. God I pray they get the message.
