  1. It’s nice but until I see this from Fox News (or at least some source slightly to the right of something literally named “Advocate.com”) I’m not going to hold out hope for much impact.

  2. Democrats have to fight because their leaders are grifters who are center right candidates pretending to be on the people’s side.

  3. From the Trumpite perspective, these are all Soros paid activists.

  4. – democratic reps and senators should go into red districts and hold townhalls for those people as a sign of the cowardice that dominates of the GOP putin reps and senators have

  5. They need to bring it up everyday for the next four years that Republicans will not face their own constituents. Democratic challengers need to start having town halls too and ask why the Republican isn’t there in front of the people (even when the R has to be in DC). Simple messages like this are effective on the average voter.

  6. None of the Republican policies or behavior indicates the least interest in winning the 2026 midterm elections.

It makes me wonder if they think there will be no such elections to worry about.

  7. That’s how to get a movement! Democrats need to be the face of reason and Hold town halls. Talk to the people and answer questions. Sometime they may have to admit we all have to just stick together!

  8. It will change, if the dems cave in on the upcoming gov shutdown.

Then the dems that caved in would avoid townhall meeting too.

  9. Democrats show up to rallies, town halls, and protests. They don’t show up at the voting booth.

  10. Let’s hope they get involved – or at least get involved more than once every four years.

  11. Why are republicans hiding? Did they run out of bulletproof glass?

  12. This has that Tea Party Energy but for things that are actually good

  13. Looks fun. But I’m sure that by election day all these Democrats will have something better to do.

  14. This kind of immediate election loss cope energy will be unsustainable for two years heading into the midterms. One would THINK that career politicians would realize this and try to slow burn it a little more.

  15. It’s not cowardice from GOP law makers since they don’t answer to voters and frankly don’t care what they think. Angry voters are just a short term inconvenience since Individual votes are not financing their campaigns and lifestyles.

  16. Proud to be in America,

Where at least they know they’re free,

    To huff Russian Propaganda,

And elect a Kompromat to the Presidency!

  17. maybe they should have turned out when it counted.

  18. My democrat senator has responded to me directly every time ive tried to contact his office. My republican congressman has not answered calls, responded to emails or accepted to face his constituents in a town hall face to face.

  19. Really hoping for a blue wave in the midterms and special elections. However, confirmation bias and echo chambers have let me down before.

  20. If they are not fighting for the people, they need to go.

  21. Those would still vote for republicans like some toxic relationship

  22. Let’s hold onto this energy for midterms and for 2028.

  23. We have had massive turn out during Kamala‘s campaign too , being a pessimist i will see it when the result finally shows.

  24. There was “massive turnout” for these kind of events leading up to the election. People need to be grilling these Democrats about real policy that will connect with dumber-than-average Americans.

Democratic “leadership” has already shown they will (continue to) roll over at the first sign of money or a perceived “breach of decorum”.

  25. If there was anything to give me hope today, it’s seeing this. Hope is a tall order anymore.

  26. Big fucking whoop.  I’m done with the Dems.  I just don’t give a fuck anymore.  They backstabbed Bernie and can fuck off forever now.  Fuck politics as usual.  Its the 1% vs the rest of us, nothing else.  Until they actually do something about that, I’m not coming back to vote.  I would have voted in a fucking golden retriever for president instead of Trump, but that’s what America wants and all of us can now feel the pain.  Will we learn, HELL no.  Will the Dems learn, HELL no.  FUCK them.

Edit:  Down vote and move on.  Keep supporting the 1%.

  27. I remember seeing massive turnout during the Harris campaign while Trump got diddly. Then came the election….

  28. Democratic law makers rn: “okay, when we said get involved at the local level we really didn’t think this many of you would actually come”

  29. One of the better Dem ideas as of late. If Republicans want to hide, take advantage of their cowardice

  30. This should have been happening a year ago. It’s great that it’s happening now, but does little to change things any time soon (enough).

  31. It’s meaningless unless Dems start changing their tune and actually connecting with these voters. Just being the other option isn’t a viable campaign strategy.

  32. Can the voters maybe just pay fucking attention and try to increase their memory capacity from gnat to some form of mammal?

My god, the number of times they decide to vote for Republicans, who have had exactly one fucking trick in their pocket for my entire 50 years of life (**which is blow up the national debt to give tax breaks to the rich if you’re such a fucking mouth breather you still can’t fucking see that**) and the dipshits keep putting them back in charge over and over and over again.

In fact Republicans have been fully in charge of the federal government for almost 3 times longer than Dems in the past 50 years and fuck shit up **EVERY. GODDAMNED. TIME**

  33. Weird . They couldn’t get this kind of turnout last November, but there here in droves today. If I had to guess, I’d say they aren’t gathering there to applaud their representatives.
