Greenland’s general election on Tuesday will be closely watched by the international community after US President Donald Trump repeatedly said he wants to purchase the semi-autonomous island from Denmark. Trump recently added that he would have it “one way or another”, sparking fear and concern in Greenland. Our reporters Achraf Abid and Clovis Casali went to meet some of those who oppose Trump and his plans.

    1. I like the idea of Greenland becoming part of America

    2. Any acquisitions of Greenland should be done via popular referendum and no invasion should take place.

    4. I wish us Americans to leave NATO. Which means if Greenland doesn't join us and is threatened by another country. Greenland doesn't get American protection.

    Conclusion I'd try to incentive Greenalnd to want to join. They have 50k people and no chance to defend themselves. If we can improve their standard of life. Maybe they will want to freely choose to join.
