  3. This is the most incompetent presidential administration I’ve ever seen. Everytime Trump and Lutnick speak they send the market (and the broader economy) reeling.

  4. Remember when they accused Biden of gaslighting Americans because the macroeconomy was good while peoples’ microeconomies were bad? Now we have Trump telling us that both being bad is some sort of medicine that he and his cabal of billionaires has to put us through.

  7. It’s not failing, this is the deliberate strategy in order to get the Fed to lower interest rates.

  8. Right now on the Conservative subs, it’s a mix of denying a recession is even really real while also claiming it’s necessary to reset the market. Apparently this will lead to more jobs and higher wages while we also pay down the debt or something. I dont know with these people anymore. Absolutely nothing they say makes any sense. And here we all are………………..

  10. Trump needs to take a page from the Biden book here. I big stimulus payment will get the economy moving again. Maybe cancel a few hundred billion in student loans. He also needs to forgive credit card loans as well. Give relief to renters while we’re at it.

  12. Based on GOP actions and statements to date, I’d argue their economic policy is succeeding. They’ve said they want the whole market to crash. They’re doing nothing to slow it down. So if you take them at their word and look at their actions, they’re doing a bang-up job. Just not for the ‘little folks’ (and yes, that includes me and you).

  13. I’m practically 95% cash at the moment. Bonus of just having options and close out for minimum pain. I’m throwing this into HSA. Seeya in 2-3 years.
