SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’re concerned your child might be too attached to their phone, check out Spokane Public Schools’ upcoming Parent Night. 

On March 25, SPS will host ‘Parent Night: Help! Technology is Taking Over’ with guest speaker, Dr. Jean M. Twenge. 

The event will offer thoughtful approaches for families to find healthy ways to balance technology use. 

Dr. Twenge, a researcher on generational theory and psychology, will go how technology affects children’s mental health and development and provide ten rules for ‘future-proof parenting.’ 

The event is free and will take place from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Shadle Park High School. Registration is required.
