  26. Trump’s pivot to Russia wont help US-Saudi relations, as the US move conveys the message, ” we’re trying to establish options with Russia, therefore we have other oil options. The US may have already sent the signal to Saudi to reconsider the reliability of US protection. This leads to Saudis calculating the possible need for nuclear weapons.

    Yes the Saudis do cooperate with Russia through brics as an ifset to western and eastern money printing. Saudi also has an interest as an OPEC member in an attempt to control oil prices.

    I also imagine any tarrifs on Saudi oil will not seed favorability.
