Labour mollifies the rich, targets disabled people and claims moral justification. There isn’t any. Ministers run away from a wealth tax and then concoct a punitive benefits system in the name of growth. They have made that shameful choice.

  2. I’m not sure why anyone really expected anything different or radical. The Labour party ceased to exist a long time ago.
    New Labour are terrified of doing anything that might upset big business or the wealthy.

  3. See, this is why they get called the Red Tories, why tax your rich pals and donors when you can fuck over the sick and the poor again?

  4. Dunno why anyones surprised. Must be tempting looking at potential savings with that benefits bill to want to bring it down a bit though.
