I’d say mouse, those are smallish droppings nearby
Mice, mice, baby.
It’s the size of the poo that will tell you what you have
Rat droppings are shiny black and 1/2 – 3/4 of an inch long, whilst mice droppings are small and smooth with pointed ends
If its rats, soak some old teabags in peppermint oil (replace frequently as it weara off), and place where they might be coming /going
Moving things about (plant pots, tools, etc) also deters them
Beavers. They’re all around us these days.
Persistent poison and rat traps all year near me. You want them gone asap, they destroyed my drains and caused a sink hole. Even when you think they’re gone, still bait and poison them
